is an experience
like a rollercoaster
i’ve never ridden
this hair has never been my own
these breasts i’ve never felt
the color of these eyes i’ve never seen
skin has never felt so moist and dry at the same time
how foolish am i?
the universe for creating my own body?
how foolish am i
to feel anger for a body i’ve never truly seen?
how foolish are we all are
to feel anything but love for a body that lets us walk, talk, breathe, eat and sleep?
how foolish are we all to shame another human for the shell that covers their soul?
